Once upon a time, in a cozy house on Dagmar Road, lived a very special family. There was a mommy, a daddy, and three energetic and unique children: Peter, who loved to ride dirtbikes; Emily, who was obsessed with dancing, like a graceful ballerina; and Tommy, who dreamt of becoming a professional baseball player. Their mommy, Nurse Amy, was the heart of their family. She wore a bright smile, scrubs, some lovingly worn down sneakers and a stethoscope around her neck. But this mom wasn’t like most moms, Amy worked at night in a big hospital, helping people who were sick or hurt.

Tim-Tim is a big boy now! Mommy says, “Time to try the potty!” Tim-Tim runs to the bathroom. He pulls down his pants. He sits on the potty. He waits… and waits… and waits… Nothing happens. “Hmmm…” Tim-Tim taps his chin. “Maybe my pee is hiding.” Mommy laughs. “That’s okay! Try again later.” Tim-Tim plays with his toys. He drinks some water. He jumps like a kangaroo. Suddenly… “Uh-oh!” Tim-Tim freezes. “I feel something!” He runs to the potty. He sits down. He waits… and waits… Plop! Plop! Tim-Tim’s eyes get big. “It came out!” Mommy claps. “Great job, Tim-Tim!” Tim-Tim grins. “Let’s see where it goes!” He stands up and flushes. WHOOSH! The water swirls! As she started to panic, her young neighbor Emma, an eight-year-old with a cheerful smile, noticed her distress and asked what was wrong. Mrs. Green explained her problem, and Emma, always quick with ideas, suggested checking the sidewalk in case the key had fallen out during the walk home. When Mrs. Green said she had already looked everywhere, Emma had another suggestion. She offered to pray with Mrs. Green to ask for help in finding the key, explaining that prayer was powerful and that God was always listening. Though not accustomed to praying, Mrs. Green agreed, touched by Emma’s confidence. They sat together on the steps, and Emma led a simple, heartfelt prayer, asking God to help them find the lost key. Mrs. Green felt a sense of comfort and hope after the prayer, even though she wasn’t sure what to expect. Afterward, the two of them retraced Mrs. Green’s steps, searching once again in the areas they had already checked. Just as Mrs. Green was about to lose hope, Emma called out from near the bushes by the front steps. There, hidden in the leaves, was the missing key. Mrs. Green was overjoyed and couldn’t believe it. She hugged Emma and thanked her, feeling grateful not only for finding the key but also for the reminder of the power of prayer. Emma simply smiled and said she believed God had helped them. From that moment on, Mrs. Green never forgot the lesson Emma had taught her. Whenever she encountered a problem, whether big or small, she remembered to turn to prayer for guidance, just like Emma had shown her. And remarkably, things always seemed to work out in the end.
